It is estimated that one-third of the human diet can be traced directly, or indirectly, to bee pollination. About 130 agricultural plants in the United States are pollinated by bees, and the annual value of honey bee pollination to U.S. agriculture is estimated at over $15 billion.

We rent beehives to gardeners and local homeowners. Many homeowners opt to rent hives for the pollination benefits only.  Others want to explore beekeeping via a rental before making the commitment to own their own hive(s).  When folks are ready, we also offer hive and equipment sales for anyone excited to start maintaining their own colonies.

Our beekeepers prepare the hive(s) on your property; the installation is designed to not only facilitate the honeybees’ job, but also to protect the hive from excess sun, moisture, family pets and children’s play areas. Contact us so that we might inspect the property to see if it is a good fit for hive(s) placement.

Hive rentals annual start times are generally between the end of April and the end of May. Contact us through April 1st to see if spots are available.
