About Us

The “J” in MJ Honey is Justin Armstrong, who at an early age, read a quote by Tolstoy that said, “I find in myself a superabundance of energy that finds no outlet in everyday life”.  With this energy he is very interested in discovering all of the delicious adventures life has to offer.  He has been a serial entrepreneur since an early age , and is currently running his electrical contracting business, Abraxas Electric.  The bees and ABQ Hive Rentals have been a fascinating distraction for Justin and a way to do something positive; a way to make this world, or at least Albuquerque, more beautiful.

The “M” in MJ Honey is Meghan Armstrong.  She enjoys dancing and performing, community, and spending her days living life with their two fantastic boys.  When not working the bee hives, harvesting honey or finding some project to undertake, her day business is Freeform Finances, offering tax and consulting services.
